Contact the Desks

How to reach us

The simplest way to contact any of our desks is by email at [email protected]. Please put the desk or topic in the subject line, such as Science, Technology, World or Corrections, so your note reaches the right editor.

A contact form is being built separately and will appear on this page when it is ready. Until then, email is the only channel.

What to expect

• We aim to read every message within three working days (a target for this demo, not a guarantee).
• Not every message will receive a personal reply.
• Corrections and factual concerns are prioritised.

Please note

This is a demonstration edition and its stories are fictional. There is no secure drop, no phone line and no postal address for tips or documents. Please do not send confidential material or sensitive personal information by email.

Writing to the right desk

Clear subject lines help. If you are reporting a possible error in a story, include the headline and describe what looks wrong. If you have feedback on the design, tell us the device and browser you are using, so we can reproduce what you saw. For general questions about the project, use the subject line General.

Because every story on this site is fictional, requests for comment, interviews or press accreditation relating to the articles cannot be fulfilled. We are, however, glad to hear from designers, developers and readers who have thoughts on how the demonstration could be improved.
