Do Not Sell or Share My Info
We do not sell or share personal data, and you can clear everything stored on your device.
Our position
The BreakingNews24hr demo does not sell or share your personal data. It has no accounts, no analytics and no advertising partners, so there is nothing to opt out of.
Where your data lives
Saved stories, theme, poll vote, alert preferences and newsletter entries are kept in your browser's localStorage on your own device. We do not receive them.
How to clear on-device data
To remove everything the demo has stored, use either method.
- Open your browser's settings, find site data or cookies and storage, and remove data for this site.
- Or open developer tools, go to the Application or Storage tab, choose Local Storage for this site and clear it.
Individual choices, such as removing a saved story, can also be undone within the site.
Third-party requests
Your browser contacts Google Fonts and the Tailwind CDN to load fonts and styles. These requests are not used by us for tracking or sale. Please see those providers' policies for how they handle connection data.
Questions
Write to [email protected] with any privacy question.
If this demo ever changes to collect personal data, we would update this page first and offer a clear opt-out before doing so. Until then, no request or form is needed, because no personal data leaves your device through the site itself.
BreakingNews24hr is a demonstration edition: every story, name, organisation and figure on this site is fictional and illustrative.
